Nintendo are set to cut the price of the Wii by $50 this month, they said this morning, now costing you $150.
The Wii, which launched back in late 2006, was bundled with Wii Sports from launch and now will be replaced with the happy faces of Mario and Luigi on the box (as seen above). The new bundle will include a Nintendo Wii (duh!), Mario Kart Wii and wheel accessory, a Wii Remote Plus controller and a nunchuck. Wii Sports however will not be forgotten as it is being added to Nintendo's "Nintendo Selects" range alongside The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Sluggers and Animal Crossing: City Folk. All of which can be picked up for $20.
