No Kinect for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
Come July 15th Harry Potter will arrive on your console for the finale in the series and he now has to do it without Kinect help.
Gary Napper told Joystiq that early on in development of the game the team decided that it was best to not include Kinect:
“We didn’t want to dilute any of our efforts on other things that would require a lot of the team’s time to perfect.”
Napper also said that the main reason the team decided to drop Kinect functionality from the game was so that they could “focus on the core of the experience, get as close to the atmosphere of the movie and make the flow of the combat feel right."
